Tum na mano magar haqiqat hai
ishq insan ke zarurat hai
kuch to dil mubatala-e-vahashat hai
kuch teri yaad bhi qayamat hai
mere mahbub mujh se jhooth na bol
jhooth surat-e-gar sadaqat hai
jee raha hun is aitamad ke sath
zindagi ko meri zarurat hai
husn hi husn jalve hi jalve
sirf ehasas ke zarurat hai
us ke wade pe naz the kya kya
ab dar-o-bam se nadamat hai
us ke mahafil mein baith kar dekho
zindagi kitni khubsurat hai
rasta kat hi jayega ‘qabil’
